Print Important Travel Documents
Before you leave for the airport, make sure you have all your important travel documents printed.

Because nothing says “vacation mode” like spending a 12-hour layover walking to a public library (with suitcases in tow) just to print entry documents. FYI, the staff at the Boston Public Library were very helpful! So helpful, we decided to set up a work space for awhile.
A few paper backups can save a lot of stress:
• Passport/ID copies
• Visa or entry documents
• Hotel confirmations
• Travel itinerary
Your future travel-tired self will thank you.
Know Before You Go
In some countries, you shouldn’t flush toilet paper down the toilet.

It might sound surprising, but in many places the plumbing systems aren’t designed to handle paper the same way as in the U.S. Instead, you’ll usually find a small bin next to the toilet for disposal.
It’s a simple tip that can save you from awkward situations (and serious plumbing issues ). When in doubt, look for signs!
Smart travelers stay informed!
Know Where You're Staying
Before you head out, make sure you know exactly where you’re staying!

It’s not your driver’s responsibility to track down the correct hotel or resort. Save yourself time and stress by keeping your reservation confirmation handy—either printed or easily accessible on your phone.
